Celebrating 50 years in the Hudson Valley!
In 1974, Poughkeepsie resident John Bocchino opened a store in the old Dutchess Mall in Fishkill. The store, Country Manner, offered a variety of collectible items, artwork, and various gifts.
With the help of his family, John grew the business and eventually moved to a new location on RT. 9 in Poughkeepsie—where we remain today. While Country Manner (and its successor, Country Gallery) remain a vital part of our history, the story didn’t end there!
Always a family business, John enlisted the help of his wife, Janice, and stepdaughter, Jennifer, to revitalize the store. They chose to rename their boutique after Jennifer’s firstborn—Sierra Lily.
Today, Sierra Lily offers the Hudson Valley a variety of jewelry, apparel, home goods, bath and body products, and other gift items. We believe in quality over quantity, timeless gifts for all occasions, and outstanding customer service. We like to support local artisans and made-in-the-USA products whenever possible. We also like to give back to our amazing community via donations and charitable events. When you shop local, your local shops give back!
